People and Places includes a variety of subjects and media including pastel, oil, scratchboard, and digital Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator produced pieces. My latest piece in this section is View of Mount Rainier which came about from our flight back to Florida from Seattle. The mountain was visible in the distance from my seat at the window of the plane. I used the telephoto lens on my camera to bring it closer. Later, I photographed the wing of the jet and included that in the final composition to further create the feeling that one is on the plane looking out at the majestic mountain.
